To me, family means more than just my mom, dad and brother (and dogs!)

It’s my grandparents, and all 29 first cousins.

It’s my whole huge extended family on my dad’s side that I’m so lucky to see (usually) at least once a year.

But family doesn’t always mean you’re related…

My Sigma Kappa family has blessed me with the sisters I’ve always wanted in my life.

My big & my littles have made such a huge impact on my life and I’m grateful everyday for them. They’re also the reason behind my love for flamingos :)

Of course, I can’t forget about my friends that have turned into family.

My best friends that are like sisters and were my family away from my family while I was in college.

I am so lucky at this point in my life to have so many people to call family.

To each and every one of you that this includes, you should know that you mean the world to me & I will love you unconditionally.

And to quote Carrie Bradshaw (again): “The most important thing in life is your family… Sometimes it’s the family you’re born into and sometimes it’s the one you make for yourself.”
